The former Little Egg Harbor Township municipal building at 7 Gifford Rd. is back on the market. The sale will be done by public auction, which is open until Feb. 26, and the highest bids will be reviewed and accepted or rejected at a township committee meeting.
The building, which is listed for $650,000, was previously poised to become a temporary housing facility for Family Promise of the Jersey Shore, as the committee approved the execution of a contract with the organization in 2024.
