After extensive deliberation and several rounds of public hearings, the Little Egg Harbor Township Committee approved the sale of 7 Gifford Rd. to nonprofit organization Family Promise of the Jersey Shore at the Oct. 10 committee meeting.
Family Promise, a national organization that has had a chapter in Southern Ocean County since 2009, intends to use the building to temporarily house families in the program.
