Unlike the Wicked Witch of the West, LBI’s witchy ladies aren’t afraid of a little water. But even their brand of magic has its limits when the North Atlantic whips up pouring rain and gale-force winds.
The seventh annual LBI Witchy Paddle, originally scheduled for Oct. 17, has been postponed until Saturday, Oct. 24, at 9 a.m., at Sunset Park in Harvey Cedars.
The witches will have to keep their broomsticks and paddleboards parked for another week while they wait for calmer winds and a smoother bay.
