Haven Beach Club’s C420 crew of Jameson Parker and Christy Verhoog proved to be an impeccable combination as they placed first not once, twice, thrice or … fice… but five times at the Spray Beach Yacht Club on July 23. The races were a part of the Long Beach Island Yacht Racing Association’s interclub season.
The day started off with some light wind around 10:30 a.m., and built up to be rather strong by the afternoon. By then, winds whipped up to over 20 knots.
