To the Editor:

In response to letter titled “Risk Rising” (7/5), the boondoggle that is the offshore wind turbine project will do nothing to keep the Earth’s climate from doing what it has been doing since its creation.

Instead, this proposed project will pollute our coast, kill countless more marine creatures, be a boon for big oil, cause our electric bills to rise and give the utility companies an excuse to impose frequent brownouts in all seasons.
