To the Editor:

As a 50-year vacationer in Harvey Cedars, my love for Long Beach Island overflows. We were there when Loveladies was still marshes and small, cute cottages abounded.

With “progress” over the years, the land was eaten up by houses – the bigger, the better. Original LBI’ers rapidly lost their views of the ocean and/or bay. This was done without any discussion, to many people’s dismay.
