Have we all lost our minds, our humanity, our morals?

After reading through most of the 800-plus comments posted on social media about last week’s opinion column titled “Some Thoughts on the Bullies Who Harassed a Mini Protest,” not only did I feel utterly disgusted, but I am saddened to think that people can have so much hatred in them. Where did humanity go? Morals, values, respect, unity and compassion are now a thing of the past?
