The last few weeks have been a bit quiet in our area – pleasantly quiet, I would say. Not much surf; not a whole lot of weather haymakers or huge newsmakers.
But that’s not to say news didn’t happen. In fact, last week saw some developments that could surely impact our oceans and our planet. On Nov. 20, the Trump administration proposed opening federal waters off the coasts of Florida, Alaska and California to expand oil leases.
