To the Editor:

Recently, at my high school reunion, someone decided that it would be fun if we finished that last English “assignment” and wrote a poem. Everyone else picked heavy topics like love and the meaning of life. My take (below) was somewhat more frivolous and amused my classmates. I thought that it might amuse your readers as well.

At the Barnegat Light Borough Council meeting last week, it was decided that any beached whales in Barnegat Light should be given names.
