This has been a hell of a year to be a weather forecaster. Really, it’s a pretty thankless job. Aside from the whole “Weathertainment” circus that has become the Weather Channel, it can’t be all that glorious. Like being an umpire or a bus driver, no one really acknowledges you until you screw up.
