To the Editor:
Long Beach Island is a small community of year-round residents with a small-town feel. Our elected officials should have the same feeling, connecting with their constituents and communicating, not hiding behind the veil of police services and municipal courts to settle extremely minor disputes.
Having been a year-round resident, I expected as much out of our Ship Bottom Chairman of Public Safety, Councilman Tom Tallon.
