To the Editor:

I am writing to you to let you know about a wonderful service provided by Leisel the therapy dog.

I am a retired Coast Guardsman who has had many German shepherds in my day. As a hobby I trained and worked search and rescue dogs as well as other therapy dogs. But when I retired, I wanted to give back to our community and a therapy dog was right up my alley, plus my wife told me to get a hobby.  

I did my due diligence and found my pup that was from German lineage and Sieger champions. I began training her, always with love right from 8 weeks old.
