Kimberly and Evan Morgan of New York City, summer visitors to Long Beach Island, have advanced from the group finals to the national quarterfinals of a Colossal.org contest called “America’s Favorite Couple” that benefits registered charities with grants directed to Oceana and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
Thousands of couples entered. Monday the votes reset to zero. The quarterfinals end Aug. 27, but voting is open through Sept. 10 and winners will be announced on or around Oct. 9.
Kim is in fashion-tech and Evan is in finance. The high school sweethearts have been together 26 years.
