To the Editor:
Once again I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Thayer’s wide-ranging assessment of our current political culture that serves only to highlight the incompetence of the Congress and the decline of the American Experiment (“GOP Fiddles While the Mideast, Ukraine and US Border Burn,” 4/3).
One major party has devolved into a cult where compromise, negotiation, honest debate and recognition of the will of the 330 million people they purportedly “represent” is naïve fantasy.
