Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew used to be known as a Democratic moderate when he was elected to Congress in 2018. When he switched to the Republican party in 2020 and seemed to be an ardent Trump supporter while Trump supported him, the term moderate sometimes didn’t seem to apply anymore.
But on Tuesday, Jan. 20 he showed a moderate tendency once again.
