To the Editor:
In response to Mr. Kibbe’s letter (“Baseless Nonsense,” 9/4), although he makes two valid points regarding the horseshoe crab threats (i.e. habitat loss and overharvesting) he makes other unsubstantiated statements concerning the turbines. For example, he states construction 9 miles off the coast won’t significantly affect the crabs, noise won’t impact the crabs and currents wont interfere with the crabs.
