To the Editor:
The conversation regarding wind turbines off Long Beach’s Island shores has hardly begun and should not begin until we, the business owners and homeowners, know the facts.
The turbines are unsightly, to put it mildly. They will directly impact tourism, which will directly impact every business on this Island from restaurants to rentals, not to mention what they will do to the fishing industry.
