Before Morgan Tyhanic even reached the first green at Bey Lea Golf Course in Toms River on April 13, she already was at par.
“I didn’t hit a good drive and ended up in the trees near the street,” said the junior from Pinelands Regional. “I had to take an unplayable ball for a stroke penalty, then I chipped out onto the fairway, so I was at four strokes before I got to the green, and then I three-putted to score an 8.
