The new year could bring new hope to Tuckerton borough residents who have long been fighting for dredging in Thompson Creek. A potential state grant, for which the borough plans to apply, could help fund the project, Councilman Brian Martin said at the Dec. 15 council meeting.
The journey to secure funds for the dredging of Thompson Creek has been a long, complicated one filled with dead ends.
