There’s no longer a plant I cannot identify, be it your garden variety orange monarch snow crocus or, going far afield, a Pinelands rarity, like a linear-leaved ludwigia.

It would be nice if such encyclopedic knowledge of greenery is actually planted in the rolling hills of my brain. No such luck. As I like to say, “I have a great memory … the rest are only so-so.”

My aforementioned knowledge of things a-grow is all new to me, the product of a killer cellphone application called “Picture This,” see picturethisai.com.
