To the Editor:
Last week a writer waxed euphoric in the SpeakEasy column over tables groaning under the weight of every food under the sun while unpaid American troops stationed in Germany were told to go to German food banks. Likewise, families, elderly and veterans scrambled when SNAP benefits were cut off over something so petty as Democrats wanting to at least talk about extending premium support for health insurance.
Then there was yet another polemic directed at those same Democrats from an ardent Trumper.
