The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences welcomed special visitors Sunday, Aug. 23 when The Seeing Eye hosted its annual Down the Shore event.
While munching on hors d’oeuvres or sipping drinks appropriately named The Salty Paw, The Buddy and Puppy in Training, community members enjoyed the opportunity to meet many Seeing Eye dogs and hear from human graduates about the impact the program has made on their lives.
