Wow! What a sports year in Southern Ocean County!
At the outset of developing The SandPaper’s Top 20 Sports Stories of 2016, it seemed there might not have been enough to fill the entire lineup. But as the review of what had occurred throughout the year continued for a few days, it was obvious – when considering some of the big stories surrounding both teams and individuals, at so many varying levels of sports -it was an outstanding year and we had far more than needed to fill the spots.
