To the Editor:
My family and I were on LBI for our annual two-week vacation in the middle of July in Beach Haven Crest on 75th Street. One afternoon, my son and his three preteen children were in the water after 5 p.m. and got into a very bad situation.
I have always preached the obvious: No swimming after lifeguards are off the beach.
