There will be a whole lot of energy on the beach Saturday morning, Aug. 16 when Jetty holds its third Littleneck Jam on the 68th Streeet beach in Brant Beach. This year the event will see 80 tiny surfers all fired up and ready to hit the water.
The Jetty Clam Jam has happened each fall since 2007, and the Coquina Jam has taken place each summer since 2009. Both events are credited with galvanizing the local surf community.
