Man, was I was happy to see all my neighbors down last weekend. There are only two other families who live on our block year round, but every house was full for the big, three-day summer kick-off.
Yep, I said it, I was happy to see all those folks from all over New Jersey and New York. They arrived at different points between Thursday and Saturday, and depending on the weather at their arrival, all took to various forms of Island pastimes, from sunning to grilling, to long walks in the rain.
