As I scan through the clothing catalogs I just received in the mail, I view bathing suits, shorts and tank tops in bright, cheery colors. The models are all smiling, looking relaxed and enjoying themselves. Of course, the catalogs were printed before COVID-19 made its presence known in the U.S. I can’t help but think how relaxed we all must have been a few months ago. We only had to worry about the weather and politics. That has certainly changed in the past weeks or so!

Had I received the catalogs in January or February, I might have just shelved them until it was nearer to summer.
