The Stockton University Performing Arts Center has added a new series to its 2026-27 season, “The Comedy Zone.” Its debut is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, when Brad Upton will be the headliner.

Tickets are $35 for the general public, $33 for seniors 65 years of age and older and members of the military, $30 for alumni, $28 for faculty, staff and each member of groups of 10 or more, and $12 for Stockton students. They may be purchased online at stockton.universitytickets.com.

“With a career spanning over 37 years, comedy veteran Brad Upton is just getting started,” wrote a publicist. “The former fourth-grade teacher and part-time track coach is seeing a resurgence unlike anyone else. His 2019 Dry Bar comedy special, ‘Boomer Triggers Gen-Z Snowflakes,’ with 16.1 million views on YouTube, is the 2nd most viewed comedy special on the planet. This viral phenomenon sent the album to #1 on the iTunes charts and drove his ensuing special, ‘I’m Not Done Yet’ to new heights. Collectively, the clips and full specials have garnered well over 200 million views across all platforms and continue to build momentum from newfound fans all across the country.”

Over the years Upton has appeared with the likes of Jeff Foxworthy, Neal McCoy, Kenny Rogers, Lewis Black, Dolly Parton and George Jones. He’s also been a regular guest at the Grand Ole Opry.

Note: This event is for audiences 18 years of age and older.

Future Comedy Zone performances from a variety of comics are scheduled for Nov. 20, Jan. 23 and April 16.
