Located at the end of Great Bay Boulevard in Tuckerton, the red roof of former Coast Guard Station 119, which today is the Rutgers University Marine Field Station, is recognizable to most residents of Southern Ocean County, whether it’s from the southern half of LBI or from the Garden State Parkway bridge over the Mullica River.
