State Recreation Grant Eyed to Offset Cost of Surf City Court Repairs

The winter blues, which tend to come after the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, might bypass the borough of Surf City with the roll-out of the ability to pay taxes online and, just as important, learning whether the borough receives state funding to repair the pickleball courts in town.

At its meeting Dec. 14, the council authorized submitting an FY 2023 Local Recreation Improvement Grant for the pickleball/tennis court area.
