The Beach Haven Public Library hosts a talk on “Amazing New Jersey: People and Places” on Thursday, June 25 at 1 p.m.
Author/historian Rick Geffken will discuss how New Jersey has such diverse geography, such as the Skylands in the Northwest and coastal area in the southeast. He will relate historical events as well as people (both famous and infamous) such as entertainers, politicians and entrepreneurs. He will also guide the audience through pivotal changes that define the state’s culture today.
