After Jayla Hahn transferred to Southern Regional last summer, everybody associated with the wrestling program knew where she’d be at the end of this season. A state champion two years ago, there was no doubt Hahn was destined for another state final.

And while Hahn easily made her way to the state final – which she still has to wrestle, by the way (more on that later) – the talk of Sunday, Feb. 26 centered on Sam Henrich, a first-year wrestler as a sophomore.
