Jackson Braddock hadn’t toed the starting line for an official race since the NJSIAA Indoor Meet of Champions on March 8, when he clocked a 9:06.86 personal-best time but finished fourth in the 3,200-meter event.

Still, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and the heat and humidity of the past two months, Braddock has kept up with his training as he looked ahead toward the cross-country season with his Southern Regional teammates.
