Typically, the bowling season is about three-quarters complete by the end of January. But we all know this isn’t a typical sports year, and the local high school bowling squads finally are getting their chances to compete this winter, with the alley action getting underway this week.

Of course, that means it’s an exciting week for the Southern Regional boys bowling crew, last year’s NJSIAA South Jersey Group IV champion, which has a majority of its bowlers returning this year.
