What colleges would a football player be interested in? Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon? How about MIT? That is the case for Southern Regional High Schoolsenior lineman Olufemi Palmer.

First and foremost, Palmer is pondering the importance of the pen-and-pencil aspect of college. This leaves him scanning the field into some of the nation’s most prestigious institutions. Yet, he knows that a passion for football lies within him. So he is left with a question: How can he design a college playbook that features a perfect mixture of pigskin and studies? “It’s just the waiting game now,” Palmer said.
