People relaxing in their homes late Sunday night heard something they haven’t listened to in a long time – the pitter-patter of raindrops.
The timing was appropriate, since on Nov. 7, the U.S. Drought Monitor placed Southern Ocean County in the “extreme drought” category, along with parts of Burlington and Atlantic counties.
