Back in July, Southern Regional senior linebacker Steve Langton wanted as many games as the schedule could hold, to have the opportunity to play the game he and his classmates loved, even if only a few more times. The Rams ended up with nine.
“I’m so happy right now. This is the best feeling,” Langton said through tears of joy after he helped lead Southern to a 36-15 victory over neighboring Pinelands Regional on Nov. 25 – the first time the programs have met during Thanksgiving week.
