To the Editor:
After 20-plus Island winters, I will tell you that there is a lot more winter traffic than even five years ago. This is causing greater hazards for pedestrians and vehicles entering or crossing the south end Boulevard.
One response to this was the five-week extension of “red light season” into October a few years ago. Now we are seeing the return of the 28th Street light in Ship Bottom.
