To the Editor:

The fine levied against Holtec Decommissioning International (“Owners of Nuclear Plant Hit With Second Penalty Related to Security Issues,” 2/2), in my opinion, did not go far enough. This was their second security-related infraction in several months at the Oyster Creek site.

Although established protocol was apparently followed in appealing the current fine through arbitration, the fact remains that security procedures were not followed.
