Even as Ship Bottom Mayor William Huelsenbeck closed the book on a nearly two-decade saga by signing the final agreement to secure open space at the former LBI Grade School site, he fended off claims that the borough’s plans opened the door for oversized homes to rise around the new park.
“No, they’re still 10 (feet, side yard setback) and 5 (feet, side yard setback) and 35% (lot coverage),” Huelsenbeck said. “The houses can’t be bigger than our ordinance.
