An injured male harbor seal discovered on a Surf City beach on Christmas Day is on his way to recovery.
Borough Councilman Peter Hartney provided the brief update last week, saying the first patient of seal season at the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine was consuming herring and capelin.
