Following four months of recovery at the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, a harbor seal found in the Beach Haven Gardens section of Long Beach Township on Feb. 11 is now back home in the ocean.
According to the MMSC, the seal was very lethargic and thin when he was taken in to the facility. “One of the first seals to be admitted this seal season, he was diagnosed with a severe respiratory infection,” staff explained.
