On Friday, sailors of every ilk participated in Surf City Yacht Club’s annual Junior Commodore Regatta. This competition is unique as it is planned and hosted by the junior commodore of the club, who is the elected leader of the club’s Junior Program – a crew of young teenswho meet weekly to organize and partake in a bevy of social activities. This year’s junior commodore, Kim Morecraft, set sail to make this the most memorable Junior Commodore Regatta yet.
