To the Editor:
As a charter boat captain, I am on the water an average of six days a week.
I had not heard of the proposed closing of Coast Guard Station Beach Haven until earlier this week when Beach Haven Commissioner Allen called to inform our association. The Coast Guard’s request for public comment must have been minuscule. That usually means the decision has been made and they don’t want the “pesky public comment” interfering.
