Save LBI? As a 72-year-old, third-generation Long Beach Islander, I have to say, “Too late!”
This Island reached its peak around 1980 and has rapidly been declining ever since then – mostly as a result of the people who come here, as so perfectly evidenced by this turmoil over turbine windmills.
