I know the unofficial start of summer was a few weeks ago, theofficial start is a few weeks off, and the months of the year are all screwy lately, but it finally feels like what we call “the season” around here.

There’s “the season,” “the off season,” “the shoulder seasons,” “early season,” and “late season.” Some people ask about the “surfing season,” but that doesn’t make any sense, as we’re out there all year. There’s the “tropical season,” but more on that later.
