The Manahawkin ShopRite on Route 72 is among the seven in Ocean County that are transitioning from ownership by Perlmart Inc. to Saker ShopRites Inc., which owns 32 stores in New Jersey.
Saker ShopRites, owned and operated by the Saker family, and Perlmart, owned and operated by Michael Perlmutter, announced Dec. 13 that they have completed the sale of Perlmart’s assets to Saker ShopRites.
