Several weeks back, I was celebrating vacationers, thanking them even, for opening my eyes to the way we full-timers forget how privileged we are to live here. This was before an SUV the size of a brachiosaurus honked, the driver giving me the finger while I was signaling for a righthand turn.

Ever since almost getting ticketed for a lane change without signaling, I faithfully signal well in advance of my turn.
