To the Editor:

All of LBI’s permanent and seasonal residents are owed an apology from every LBI politician who must take responsibility for the condition of our Route 72 roadway onto LBI.

My family and I left the Garden State Parkway on July 3 at 2:30 p.m. and reached the Island at 4:30 p.m. It was two hours of bumper to bumper traffic with not a law enforcement officer or vehicle to be seen to help control the congestion at intersections, vehicles driving on shoulders, vehicles escaping “short cuts” from Bay…
