To the Editor:
Recently the value of my property in Long Beach Township was revaluated, with a result that the new assessment rose 26%. Since this revaluation is used to determine property tax, my question to township officials is, what will the new tax rate be? To keep the property tax the same, will the current rate be reduced by 26%?
